A story of the Optimist and the Pessimist, I heard sometime ago-
Two twin girls got a birthday gift from their parents. The
first one opened it and saw a box of sand. She sadly concluded that her parents
did not love them as all they got was a box of sand. The other one, opened hers
and saw a box of sand. She jumped up and ran out of the house. “There’s got to be
a pony for this!”
We’ve been given the same event, the same day, the same week, what you get from it depends on what you are expecting
from it.
So what are you expecting from today? Voice your expectation
and make it happen.
My expectation: Today is going to be a blessed day!
